Villa Arion is a municipal monument, built around 1880 and has over 140 years of history. General practitioner Dr Niemeijer, honorary citizen of Wageningen, lived there. More recently, many Wageningen student organisations were active here, the WSO being the best known. Now Arion has new destinations in addition to habitation: ‘Stijklkamer’ meeting room, cooking studio and a Bed & Breakfast on the attic.

On Sunday, September 10, 2023 from 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM it was again possible to visit the municipal monument Villa Arion. With temperatures above 30 degrees, it was nice to stay in the air-conditioned rooms. As an extra activity, there was a gallery exhibition in the Stijlkamer and in the stairwell LUCIA NOVALIS. Erica
